Rest In Power to 3 of the greats.

If you’re a hip hop fan, it’s been rough as hell lately. We often don’t think about the health and well being of our favorite artists, especially when you’re growing up on their music.

In 3 weeks we’ve lost DMX, Black Rob and Shock G from Digital Underground.

DMX had his struggles with addiction most of his life but his passionate expression in his art form seemed to carry him when nothing else would. He was a Really strong brother who struggled with a rough upbringing and the demanding lifestyle of the music industry.

Black Rob had a rough upbringing, but made it into a successful space with hit after hit early in his rap career.

We are still waiting to hear about Shock G’s cause of death.

These tragic losses so close together are one of those moments that just make you pause. Pause long enough take an inventory on mental health, spiritual health and overall well being.

Rest in power to DMX, Black Rob and Shock G.

And Thank You for the memories.
