Do you know what the water benefits are to the body? Have you had your daily water consumption today? How about weekly? Monthly?
If your answer to any of these questions is no, it’s most likely that the answer is the same to all of them.
Now this is not to come down on you. A large portion of society is deficient in their water intake, and that is for a few reasons.
A lot of people don’t know that they don’t get enough water daily. Your average citizen is waking up, scrambling to get everything together so they can speed off to work. When that’s over, they’re going to pick up kids, maybe to another job, the gym, or to eat again.
Water may never even be a passing thought. Does this sound familiar?
The human body is 60% water in totality. That’s more than half of your body being made up of liquid, even though we are recognized as solid flesh.
I don’t know about you, but that’s extremely fascinating to me. The idea that we are, in essence liquid beings! (Ever see that movie The Abyss?)
With that being said, the discussion of water benefits to the body can go on forever. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t get into a few of them here. Now I personally have no problem drinking water. It’s the absolute greatest form of liquid to put into your body and I don’t feel like it should be struggle.
But if it is, rest easy because you are not alone.
Check out this article on the amazing things that can happen when you finally give your body the hydration that it needs. I feel like I should say now that the amount of water to b consumed daily will depend on how active you are and what your health status is (respectfully).
